A unique application for professional or amateur Theatre staff alike. Conventional stage cueing devices rely on wired connections to communicate with Sound/Lighting to Stage Managers. This is not always convenient as Stage Managers often have to be away from their post, attending to actors and unforeseen issues. Can be used with a mix of Apple and Android phones!

Alternatively, Lighting crew can be up in an inaccessible part of the theatre gantry away from cabled systems.

The StageCue app is a totally wireless solution, whether on Iphone or Ipad. Simply log both devices into the same wifi router. (This router doesn’t even need to be connected to the internet). Then start the apps on both devices. Press the green connect on either device to establish a connection. The device last pressed will say "Connected" and reassuringly you will see the device name in the black bar at the bottom of the screen that you are currently connected to.

In use, press a button on either device, the other will flash the corresponding device. The recipient then presses the flashing button to confirm OK on both devices. Normally in stage applications using wired connection the stage manager only has the option to flash the amber in response to the Sound/Light command. With StageCue the operators know the state of readiness by both parties and communication can be bi-directional!

Operation is simplicity itself but if you have any issues connecting, please turn off the Firewall on the router. If a device fails to connect, just turn off the app and restart. It should find the other automatically, then press connect on one device to establish the connection.

Please note: if you press the green connect button again whilst connected, you will get an Alert saying "No Device Available" this is not the case as both devices will still be connected. You only have to look at the bottom bar to see which device you are connected to.
